Re: Halo 3: ODST Impressions So Far

A great read, I'm glad Halo 3 ODST has lived up to expectation, and I totally agree, the game shouldn't be rushed. I'm going to play the whole thing through on Heroic and take my time to actually explore and take in the surroundings.

Re: Halo 3: ODST Impressions So Far

I can't believe how freakin' psyched I am for this. I went to the game opening in a very, very small town. I took pictures and will write an awesome (read: awful) piece about it.

That being said, I went there just to cover. I couldn't afford.

I could, however, afford a copy of HALO:CE, so I'm gunna' gun that. It's a good compromise.

I'm glad you wrote that article. I feel that the cost is justified even more so. When I get my copy I'll also play through on Heroic.

Re: Halo 3: ODST Impressions So Far

Nice review Tim. I`m not going to lie I beat it in 4 hours on Normal. The story completely blew me away and I wanted to know what would happen next so I rushed the last 3 night bits in the end. Anyways I already started my second campaign on Heroic so I can enjoy the city more and hunt down those engineers and audio tapes(which also blew my mind).

I liked it, Pretty good game, only thing I have to complain about really, is the low stamina tolerance, yeah you're not ODST, but come on, 3 plasma pistol shots to take down all my stamina?

yeah, the audio side story is really good, and i love the way the SI helps you find them

Such a theory is hardly far-fetched.

They want you to plan out attacks. I had no problem once I used cover and what not. Also take out grunts and jackals always before you tackle a brute.
@freeman
yeah they came up with some pretty unique ways to grab your attention.
